Natural, Artificial, and Organisational Intelligence Institute
The NAOInstitute brings together researchers from across disciplines to understand intelligence in all its forms. The institute focuses on the impact of intelligence on humanity, exploring ethical, technical, and societal aspects of both human and artificial intelligence. My work with low-resource languages aligns with the institute’s goals of ensuring AI is developed responsibly and inclusively.
Directed by Professor Michael Witbrock, the Strong AI Lab focuses on research that aims to create AI systems with broad capabilities, focusing on reasoning, natural language understanding, and ethical AI development. Being part of SAIL provides an incredible environment to push the boundaries of how AI can assist in complex, real-world problems like language preservation and cross-lingual transfer.
